Who we are

Tervomont is currently a product and technology brand operated by Skogli Service, Norway, organisation number 923 345 493. This policy covers the Tervomont website and the FuelSmartly application.

FuelSmartly location data

FuelSmartly can use your device location while you use the app to find fuel stations near you and calculate distance. When a nearby-station search requires server processing, the coordinates needed for that request may be sent to the FuelSmartly service.

Our production design is to use location for the requested search only. We do not intend to build a location history, use location for advertising profiles, or associate historical location searches with an identifiable user.

Device and app information

The app creates a random installation identifier and stores settings and application data locally on the device. The installation identifier may in future be used for functions such as licence or entitlement management. Location-search data is designed to remain separate from such identification wherever possible.

Maps and external services

FuelSmartly can open an external map application for navigation to a selected fuel station. When you choose to use an external service, that provider's own privacy terms apply.

Website and communications

If you contact us, we may process the information you provide in order to respond to your enquiry. The public Tervomont website is designed as an informational site and does not require a user account.

Security and transmission

Production app-to-server communication is intended to use encrypted HTTPS connections. We aim to collect and retain only information needed to provide and operate the service.

Advertising and analytics

The current FuelSmartly application does not rely on Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics or AdMob for behavioural tracking. If this changes in a future public version, this policy and the relevant app-store disclosures will be updated before that processing is introduced.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal information we process, including access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. You may contact us about a privacy request using the details below.
